About the project

This project was part of a major revitalization effort aimed at transforming the premises of a historic sugar factory into a modern business space. The design team conducted meticulous research into the company's structure and the daily operations of its numerous departments. The outcome of this research was an open space design without a single solid partition, except where absolutely necessary.

Careful zoning was employed to create an environment that even those who typically prefer more traditional office setups found comfortable.

The design incorporated innovative use of materials and technology, challenging norms to enhance the project's outcome.

Our approach

Business spaces are inherently focused on functionality. While this may sound simple, functionality has as many definitions as there are businesses, as what may be effective for a sales office might not align well with the needs of a technology company.

The cornerstone of tackling such projects lies in thoroughly understanding the operational intricacies and requirements of the envisioned space. We strive to gather insights into the project-specific pain points and challenges, and then assemble a team that has the expertise to resolve them through smart design and engineering solutions.

Given how investment in office space can impact cash flow and overall business growth strategy, we also aim to balance the upfront costs with the potential long-term benefits by paying particular attention to scheduling and budgeting, as well as future operating expenses such as utilities and maintenance. In doing so, we ensure that the final result not only meets immediate needs but also contributes to the long-term success of the business.
