About the project

Perched on the 20th floor of the DIFC tower, offering breathtaking views of Dubai's cityscape dominated by the Burj Khalifa, this space was conceived as the company's executive office, serving as a hub for top management to meet with clients and partners.

The primary focus of the design brief was to create an impressive space that would leave a lasting impression. To achieve this, the design strategically positioned the offices towards the back of the space, away from the facade, while placing the common areas such as the lounge and kitchen near the panoramic glazing to capitalize on the unparalleled views.

One of the key design challenges encountered was a massive structural column near the office entrance. This obstacle was addressed by incorporating lush greenery around the column, transforming it into an urban oasis within the space.

From a project management standpoint, this project marked 7Sprint's inaugural venture in Dubai. The team faced a steep learning curve navigating the local construction market and worked tirelessly to effectively communicate the designer's vision to the building contractor.

Our approach

Business spaces are inherently focused on functionality. While this may sound simple, functionality has as many definitions as there are businesses, as what may be effective for a sales office might not align well with the needs of a technology company.

The cornerstone of tackling such projects lies in thoroughly understanding the operational intricacies and requirements of the envisioned space. We strive to gather insights into the project-specific pain points and challenges, and then assemble a team that has the expertise to resolve them through smart design and engineering solutions.

Given how investment in office space can impact cash flow and overall business growth strategy, we also aim to balance the upfront costs with the potential long-term benefits by paying particular attention to scheduling and budgeting, as well as future operating expenses such as utilities and maintenance. In doing so, we ensure that the final result not only meets immediate needs but also contributes to the long-term success of the business.
