About the project

The client, Roshen Confectionery Corporation, embarked on this project driven by the ambition to establish a world-class classical music venue in Kyiv—a new hall that would restore Kyiv’s standing among the world’s finest symphonic music destinations.

Roshen pursued ambitious yet interconnected objectives with this project. By opening a new concert hall, Roshen aimed to reintroduce the Ukrainian audience to the world of exquisite music and artistry.

To select the design concept best suited to reflect the conceptual and strategic objectives of the new venue, as well as to choose its designers for further stages, an international competition was held involving world-renowned architectural studios. Considering the ambitious design proposed by the winning architect and the technical and programmatic intricacies involved, the project team included industry leaders in theater technology, structural design, and engineering.

Our approach

Public and cultural projects often involve a wide range of stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and needs. These stakeholders may include government agencies, community organizations, cultural institutions, and members of the public. Leveraging our network of industry connections, we collaborate with experts to help us identify project requirements and incorporate best practices tailored to the specific project at hand. This collaborative approach ensures that the needs and perspectives of all stakeholders are considered and addressed throughout the project lifecycle, resulting in outcomes that are both culturally sensitive and community-focused.

Our process begins with thorough initial research into the project site's background and the challenges it presents. We pay special attention to exploring the site's history, its context within the surrounding area, and future usage scenarios, which may evolve as the project integrates into the public realm.

As the project's various components come into focus, we assemble a multidisciplinary team to ensure each component receives the necessary expertise and attention. Recognizing the heightened public interest often associated with such projects, we prioritize transparency and cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
